Property Page Redesign The Starwood site framework serves over 900 hotel properties, across nine different brands. My challenge was to design a new, single property page information architecture that could be shared by all hotels, from large resorts to small airport locations.
The property page expansion project lasted over 2 years, and included a large team of content managers, brand managers, hotel managers, developers, designers and photographers. Extensive user testing was done to determine what guests want to see about each hotel and to validate prototype designs.
The result was as scalable framework that continues to support Starwood's existing properties, and new ventures, including the creation of
aLoft from
W Hotels and
Element, by
Westin.

FourPoints.com: Home Page and Site CalendarI designed a new date selection calendar to more naturally reflect the way travelers indicate start and end dates of a trip.
The single calendar solution was first used on a revolutionary new, simplified home page design for
Four Points.com, and reflected a distinct change from the typical form-field approach found on most travel and hospitality websites.
The solution eliminates the need to click twice (when using traditional check-in and check-out fields) and also minimizes the number of form fields required on the home page, simplifying the design.
Additional projects include
Sheraton.com,
Westin.com,
Starwood Meetings and Events, and
Starwood Preferred Guest. Please
